All pool work is on a 1 to 1 allowing total commitment to your pet whilst in the pool. Each session can last up to about 30mins after which they are blow dryed. Please remember to also bring a towel just to finish off the drying.

It is your responsibility to ensure (check with your vet) that your dog is well enough to undertake swimming and to inform us of your dogs current state of health. Your vet can always contact us and discuss any treatment.

Our Pool has seen many dogs come and go. Many remaining with a weekly swim after the treatment has brought them back to full health.

Circumstances when Hydrotherapy can benefit your pet:

  • 1. After surgery on a fracture or ligament.
  • 2. Congenital degenerative diseases e.g hip dysplasia.
  • 3. Disabled pets who require the physical and mental stimulation to aid rehabilitation.
  • 4. Common neck and back problems.
  • 5. Older pets with muscle wastage that causes difficulty and pain walking.
  • 6. Before surgery to improve fitness and thereby aid recovery after.
  • 7. Improve both physical and mental stamina for dogs prior to mating, bitches a suitable time after a litter, working dogs and agility dogs.
  • 8. Swimming/pool exercise can help to reduce weight loss and maintain it.

These benefits apply equally to small or large dogs and from our experience we have seen many many dogs enjoy the pool without even realising how it is helping them.
